Born in Germany & raised in the US, Yori's obsession with television & movies began at an early age. By his late adolescence, Yori was writing & recording sketches & short films with his older brother. By high school, Yori's focus of visual arts steered towards skateboard videography & photography.

After receiving a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Mary Washington, Yori began studying film at Virginia Commonwealth University. An opportunity to intern on a major motion picture quickly pushed academics aside. After 3 months of working on the Oscar nominated film "The Contender" Yori never went back to school. It's 22 years later & Yori still loves filmmaking more than ever.

Yori has spent the past 15 years 1st AD'ing commercials, feature films, television shows, VR, reality television, music videos, new media & industrials in just about every part of the United States & a few places internationally.

Yori is a member of the Directors Guild of America - East as a 1st Assistant Director for Commercial/TV/Film & an Associate Director for Television.
